Recovery Partnerships MTF currently has 36 recovery partners, recovering musculoskeletal tissue at 28 different recovery programs. Orthopaedic departments of member medical institutions and organ, tissue and eye procurement agencies operate these recovery programs. Procurement agencies that are members of the Foundation include 17 organ procurement organizations (OPOs), five eye banks and three independent tissue banks. To insure integrity in the recovery process, MTF does not work with any individual for-profit tissue recovery services. MTF also employs an audit team whose sole purpose is to audit on a routine basis the tissue recovery organizations that MTF partners with to insure compliance with our strict standards and protocols. Our work is made possible by the dedicated efforts of the following non-profit organizations: Recovery/Distribution Partners
